Zune outselling iPod this Christmas?

Brown Zune

Yes, it is possible! For the holiday season the Zune has been heavily discounted. Right now, it's Amazon's top selling music device. How is this possible? As I've just stated, price.

  • 4 Gig iPod Nano: $135

  • 30 Gig Brown Zune: $134 (!!!)

  • 30 Gig Black Zune: $140 (!!!)

  • 30 Gig Pink & Red Zune: $150

What's more, the new Zune 80's are marked at 17th place at Amazon and are sold out everywhere. Finally some real competition for Apple, huh?

The Zune 30 was the first music player Microsoft came out with and has been recently upgraded with the new firmware, which originates from the new generation of Zunes.

(Yes! It now supports podcasts!)

This is amazing I am a huge zune fan now ,microsoft is updating with new software and not leaving older zunes behind they update older zunes as well.this makes users happy that there older zune wont be forgoten as new one come out. Making it compatiable with macs would draw in more people and increase sells. I hope the prices for all the zunes can stay it would leave ipods in the dust as far as sales if they keep the prices the same all year round Microsoft has steped up thier game at last!!!!!!!!!!!
