Virtualization under MacOS

Parallels‘ now makes it possible to run MacOSX as well as Windows (and Linux), or any other Intel-compatible operating system on a single Mac. O’Reilly demonstrates this application, which uses a chique visual to transition between the operating systems. Cute, but whoe, as O’Reilly states, this is merely a visual effect. ‘Parallels’ is in fact a real time virtualisation application, that runs the other OSes inside MacOS. Basic stuff works fine, but don’t try gaming.For real dual-booting, see Bootcamp
